Sarah Ferguson looking distressed as a new scandal involving Prince Andrew exposes her biggest worry

Sarah Ferguson Deeply Disturbed as New Andrew Scandal Uncovers the Fear She’s Most Worried About

Sarah Ferguson has reportedly been “shaken to the core” by Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor’s exile from the Royal Family over his association with paedophile Jeffrey Epstein. The former Duchess of York was forced to leave the 30-bedroom Royal Lodge — where she had lived with Andrew since 2008 — after King Charles finally yielded to increasing pressure regarding his brother’s ties to the late financier.

She also lost her remaining royal titles alongside Andrew on October 30. But instead of leaning on one another as the media scrutiny intensified, the two have allegedly grown distant in the weeks following their eviction.

Royal expert Hilary Fordwich told Fox News:
“Sarah has made it well-known among her staff and others that she no longer believes in Andrew and is prepared to go her own way after years of loyalty and public defence.”

Broadcaster and photographer Helena Chard added:
“Her nerves are frayed. She is shaken to the core by the loss of her royal safety net.”

Sarah has also shared her worries about how the continuing scandal may affect the former couple’s daughters, Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie.

Ms Chard said:
“She fears further humiliation and worries that the serious allegations will affect her girls’ standing. Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie have distanced themselves from their parents’ scandals.”

Andrew and Sarah’s relationship has always been unusual — the pair remained close friends and continued living under the same roof for decades after their divorce.

But the King’s decisive action in response to Andrew’s damaged public image appears to have created a deep divide between them.

Ms Fordwich explained:
“While Sarah and Andrew are currently both still residing in Windsor, they are reportedly sleeping at different ends of the sprawling Royal Lodge. They do get together to discuss their respective uncertain futures. While their relationship has long been described as unusually close for divorced exes — cohabiting and supporting each other through public crises — there is now a real rupture.”

Andrew is expected to move to an unspecified residence on the King’s Sandringham estate early next year. Sarah’s future, however, remains far more uncertain, with reports suggesting she may even consider relocating abroad.

News of Sarah’s fragile state comes after royal biographer Robert Jobson told HELLO! Magazine’s A Right Royal Podcast that the former duchess is “not great.”

He continued:
“I’ve known her for many years, and I’m not saying that she hasn’t done anything wrong — because it has been documented what she did wrong.”

Jobson then added:
“Should she be in the same boat as Andrew? I don’t necessarily think so.”
