Prince William and Princess Kate during a public appearance amid growing pressure on the Royal Family

Meghan Markle eyes ‘high-powered return’ to the UK alongside Prince Harry

Meghan Markle is reportedly planning what has been described as a “high-powered” return to the UK alongside Prince Harry. The Duchess of Sussex has not visited Britain since 2022, when she attended the funeral of the late Queen.

According to friends, Meghan now feels “newly energised” about making a prominent return — one that is said to carry personal significance. Sources close to her suggest that the recent controversy surrounding Andrew has only strengthened her resolve, with one insider claiming: She feels vindicated. There’s a sense of, ‘We tried to tell you.’

While her visit is expected to align with Prince Harry’s one-year-to-go Invictus Games event, those familiar with the plans say the trip is intended to represent something more meaningful for the Duchess as well.

A source told celebrity journalist Rob Shuter that Meghan’s potential return would be deliberate and self-assured.

They said: She wants to show the British public what they threw away. It’s not anger — it’s confidence.

The insider added: She’s not going back quietly. If she returns, it will be on her terms.

Reports suggest the Sussexes have been exploring accommodation options in Birmingham ahead of the Invictus Games-related visit.

The development follows the couple’s recent two-day trip to Jordan, which some commentators have described as resembling a traditional royal tour.

During their time in the Middle Eastern country, Harry and Meghan met with organisations and authorities involved in humanitarian efforts supporting the health and wellbeing of Syrian and Palestinian refugees who have sought safety in Jordan over the years.

Their visit was undertaken at the invitation of Dr Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, Director-General of the World Health Organization.
