The Princess of Wales has attracted attention after a touching interaction with a young girl was captured on camera, with royal watchers suggesting the moment offered a glimpse of Kate’s personality.
On Wednesday, September 30, Princess Kate travelled to Pulborough to celebrate the 50th anniversary of West Sussex Minibus. While meeting members of the public during the visit, one particularly gentle exchange stood out and soon became a talking point online.
Footage from the engagement later circulated on social media, prompting numerous comments about Kate’s warm approach towards those she meets during royal appearances. Some viewers also reflected on the qualities they believe she brings to her role within the Royal Family.

In the latest clip, Kate can be seen stopping to speak with a little girl who was apparently not feeling well. Rather than greeting her with the usual handshake, the Princess approached the child more gently, stroking her hair as she spoke to her and offering her well wishes.

Her trip to the village marked the 50th anniversary of West Sussex Minibus, a volunteer-run service that uses its fleet of vehicles to provide transport for older people throughout the surrounding community.
Earlier in the day, Kate surprised 94-year-old Stella Drewett at her bungalow before accompanying her to the minibus. The pair then set off on a short journey to collect additional passengers.
The visit eventually brought the group to Pulborough Village Hall, home to a weekly lunch club where local residents can meet, take part in activities and enjoy conversation in a friendly community setting.
