Princess Kate Shared A Sweet Moment With Disabled Woman Who Performed Wimbledon Coin Toss

The Princess of Wales shared a sweet moment with a young royal fan ahead of the Wimbledon Ladies final this afternoon.

Princess Kate, 41, arrived at the All England Lawn, Tennis and Croquet Club amid high winds to meet with hard working staff at the tournament before taking her seat in Centre Court.

Among the people she met who have kept the tournament running was Philippa George, who had been selected to perform the coin toss which decided whether Ons Jabeur or Marketa Vondrousova would serve first.

Ms George, 27, was nominated for the coin toss as a representative of the Riding For The Disabled charity.

As the pair chatted ahead of the final, mother-of-three Kate told her she was an ‘inspiration’ to many people.

Upon arrival in SW19, Princess Kate dazzled in a lime green Self Portrait dress costing £420, and was eager to meet the hard working staff members as soon as possible.

The keen tennis fan shook hands with ball boys and ball girls at the All England Club, as well as meeting Philippa.

Dressed in Wimbledon white in a T-shirt and cap emblazoned with the championshop’s logo, Philippa shook Kate’s hand and beamed.

Kate asked about her Wimbledon-themed nail polish and whether Ms George had been practising for the toss.

Kate took a look at the speciаl coin, which Philippa tossed at the beginning of the mаtch to decide who would serve first, and аsked Philippa if she’d been prаctising

The princess told her she was ‘such an inspiration to so many people’ and was glad she had been recognised.

Ms George, 27, said after the meeting: ‘It was so special. She was asking me about my nails and talked to me about how I like horses.

‘She was really happy that I was here… It means so much.

‘It is such an honour to be here and being part of all this. I am so grateful to have this opportunity.’
